It makes me ponder utility (and futility) and what it is to know something, is it comprehension? And is this felt (in the intuitive sense) or is it propositionalized (ah I see it and I know that's a cue). Does something gets lost when intitution is converted to a moment of explicit apprehension. I'm not sure -- but these are some questions that occur to me. We do have this issue of making connections with other disciplines that values the currency of meanings as they occur in those disciplines. All of these relationships seem to me to be at play in unpacking what it is to have choreographic knowledge. But not be a choreographer. Which brings up another intriguing aspect of this story -- namely what 'being' something affords in relation to knowledge. I hope you don't mind my riffing a bit. All interesting stuff and I look forward to our discussions tomorrow !!
